About Us

I grew up under the sunny skies of South Florida, born in Miami and raised around Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating from the University of Florida in 2004, I made my way to New York City in 2006, where I eventually attended Brooklyn Law School, earning my law degree in 2012. From there, I spent years working as a lawyer—first as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, and later transitioning into private practice.

Fitness has always been a passion of mine. Back in 2014, some friends and I opened a cross-training gym in Park Slope, Brooklyn. By day, I was grinding it out as a lawyer, and by night, I was leading fitness classes. It wasn’t always easy juggling both, but it was worth it. That gym was also where I met my amazing wife. After a few years, though, the long days and late nights caught up with me, and I had to step away from the gym scene to refocus.

In 2017, life took a beautiful turn. My wife and I reconnected, fell in love, and started a family. In July 2019, I became a dad for the first time with the birth of our daughter. Then, in October 2021, our family grew exponentially with the arrival of our identical twin boys. Yes—three kids under three. Life during those years was a whirlwind, especially with the challenges of COVID-19 thrown into the mix. Like many dads, I struggled to find the time and energy to take care of myself. The weights in our basement helped, but the chaos of parenting often got in the way.

Now, as a father of three, my perspective on fitness has shifted. It’s no longer about chasing a certain look or hitting personal bests. It’s about showing up for my kids, staying healthy for them, and being the best role model I can be. That’s why I created Tired Dads Fitness—a place where dads like me can find the tools, support, and community to navigate this stage of life while still prioritizing their health. I’m glad you’re here. Let’s tackle this together.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life, but like most dads, my approach has evolved over the years. In my younger days, it was all about aesthetics and personal records. Back then, I had the time and energy to obsess over results. But fatherhood changed everything. Sleepless nights, busy schedules, and the constant demands of raising kids taught me that fitness couldn’t be about vanity anymore—it had to be about something deeper.

These days, my fitness philosophy is simple: consistency over perfection. I’ve learned that some days, a workout is just 15 minutes in the basement while the kids nap. Other days, it’s playing tag at the park and calling it cardio. The key is finding a balance that works for you and your family. My goal isn’t to look like I’m in my 20s again—it’s to be able to keep up with my kids, stay healthy as I age, and set an example for them about the importance of taking care of yourself.

I also believe fitness should be fun. It shouldn’t feel like another chore on your to-do list. Whether it’s lifting weights, hiking, or chasing after your toddlers, there’s joy to be found in moving your body. And most importantly, you don’t have to do it alone. Building a community of like-minded dads who understand the unique challenges we face has been a game-changer for me, and I hope it will be for you too.

Fatherhood can be exhausting, but you don’t have to tackle it alone. At Tired Dads Fitness, we’re building a community of dads who get it—guys who know what it’s like to juggle work, family, and fitness while running on caffeine and minimal sleep. This is a space where we can support, motivate, and inspire each other to stay healthy, feel better, and be the best versions of ourselves—not just for us, but for our families.

Whether you’re here to get fitness tips, find the best gear, or just connect with other dads navigating the same challenges, you’re in the right place. So grab a cup of coffee, stick around, and join the conversation. We’re glad to have you. Let’s do this together.
